This is a classic combination for quesadillas-melted cheese, spicy chorizo and green chiles.

Ingredients

4 flour tortillas
1 cup Chihuahua® Quesadilla Cheese Shredded from V&V SUPREMO®
½ pkg. (12 oz.) Supremo® Pork Chorizo from V&V SUPREMO®
1 large poblano pepper, roasted, peeled and sliced

Directions

  1. Place skillet over medium heat. Remove plastic casing from chorizo, place in skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, breaking up with a spoon.

  2. Place another skillet over medium heat for 1 minute. Warm up tortillas for 30 seconds on one side. Flip tortilla over and add ¼ cup of cheese to each tortilla. When cheese is partially melted, add ¼ of the cooked chorizo ¼ of the poblano pepper.

  3. Fold tortilla in half. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side, until cheese is fully melted, and serve.
