Place sour cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 cup of cheese and whisk until fully melted.

Add another cup of cheese and whisk constantly, until melted.

Add the third cup of cheese. Whisk until the sauce has a smooth consistency.

Whisk in mustard and set aside.

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain well and transfer to a large bowl. Mix in cheese sauce, serve and enjoy!
