Bean Dip

There are several dips like this ready-made on supermarket shelves, so why make it yourself? Try this simple recipe once and you won’t ask again.

 

Ingredients


 

2 cups refried pinto beans

 

1 cup V&V SUPREMO® CHIHUAHUA® CHEESE, shredded

 

15 oz V&V SUPREMO® CREMA SUPREMO® or V&V SUPREMO® CREMA *RANCHERITO® sour cream

 

2 large pickled jalapenos seeded, minced

 

½  cup V&V SUPREMO® QUESO FRESCO or V&V SUPREMO® QUESO *RANCHERITO®, crumbled

 

salt to taste

 

Preparation

  1. Place a small pot over medium heat. Add beans, stir until hot.
  2. Add Chihuahua®cheese, and chiles.  Allow cheese to melt.
  3. Add sour cream, mix well.  Add salt to taste.

 

SERVING:

Serve dip in a bowl. Sprinkle queso fresco on top. Enjoy with your favorite brand of chips.
