Ingredients
2 large ripe tomatoes, cored, diced
1 small white onion, diced
2 serrano or jalapeno chiles, minced
1/4 bunch cilanto, chopped
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
salt

Preparation
Place all ingredients in bowl, mix well, add salt to taste.

Serving
Use as a topping for tacos, tostadas, sopes, quesadillas, etc., also good with chips.

Variations, tips, shortcuts:
- For less bite, use Vidalia or other sweet onion.
- Tomatoes can be seeded for less liquid in salsa.
- Diced jicama can be added for crunch
