Crunchy Chorizo Refried Bean Tacos are filled with pinto beans and melted Chihuahua® Cheese inside crisp corn tortillas. Top them off with Supremo® Sour Cream & Queso Fresco Cheese from V&V Supremo® for a great mealtime experience.

    Over a small bowl; crumble Queso Fresco Cheese. Cover and refrigerate until needed.

    Preheat a medium skillet for 1 minute over medium heat. Remove the plastic casing from Chorizo and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, crumbling with a spoon while cooking. Add onion and garlic. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, add pinto beans, and continue to cook. Mash and mix beans for an addtional 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat, add Chihuahua® Cheese, and stir until cheese is fully incorporated and melted. Divide Chorizo Refried Beans into 6 equal portions.

    Fill each tortilla with 1 portion taco filling, fold tortillas over, and seal with a toothpick.

    Preheat vegetable oil in a heavy bottom skillet for 2 minutes over medium-high heat. Fry tacos in batches for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until tortillas are crisp and golden. Transfer tacos to a tray lined with paper towel. After tacos are cool enough to handle, remove tooth picks.

    Place Crunchy Chorizo Refried Bean Tacos on a plate or serving platter. Top with salsa, drizzle with Sour Cream, and garnish with crumbled Queso Fresco Cheese. Serve & enjoy!
