Queso Fresco with Tomatillo Salsa is an easy to make snack! Creamy Queso Fresco Cheese is topped with a fresh blend of green tomatillos, cilantro, and serrano peppers.

1 (10 oz.) pkg. V&V SUPREMO® Brand Queso Fresco Cheese

¾ cup tomatillo, fine dice

⅓ cup red onion, fine dice

¼ cup fresh cilantro, fine chop

1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice

1 tsp. olive oil
-
½ tsp. Kosher salt
-
⅛ tsp. ground black pepper
-
½ serrano pepper, thin diagonal slice

Tortilla Chips

Lime wedges (optional)
4 Steps to complete

1Over a bowl; crumble Queso Fresco. Reserve ¼ cup for garnish.

2In a bowl; combine tomatillo, onion, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

3On a serving plate or platter; spread crumbled Queso Fresco Cheese. Top with tomatillo salsa. Garnish with reserved ¼ cup crumbled Queso Fresco Cheese and sliced serrano peppers.
