We are the premier manufacturer of authentic Mexican-style Cheese, Chorizo & Crema in the U.S.

Born in 1964, we have maintained our position by providing full-flavored products of the highest quality and consistency in the market, both at the retail and foodservice levels.

Founded by Mexican immigrants, the legacy of the Michoacán countryside has always been apparent with every bite of cheese, every drop of crema, and the distinct aroma of our chorizo in the skillet. 

Family operated from day one, and in league with family dairy farmers, our mission has always been to create the finest product from the finest ingredients and to deliver the essence of Mexico through tradition and authenticity. Pristinely fresh cheese, luxurious melting cheese, bold & robust aged cheese, along with savory, complex chorizo and silky cultured crema are all members of the V&V Supremo® product family.

While essential for traditional, authentic Mexican and Hispanic cuisine, these items fit perfectly in dishes across cultures. Our trademarked Chihuahua® Brand melting cheese is perhaps the perfect example as it is equally at home in a quesadilla or atop a pizza.

Headquartered in Chicago’s historic Pilsen community, with plants in Chicago and Wisconsin, V&V Supremo® has a dedicated multi-cultural team of 300 employees, with a hands-on, dynamic Board of Directors. Our nation-wide distribution reflects the surging demand for Hispanic flavors across America due to population trends, and overall consumer preference for authentic flavors. The multitude of awards over the years across all our dairy products is testimony to the integrity of the V&V Supremo® Brand.

We offer paid time off and holiday time off.

As a new hire we know health care (medical and dental) benefits are important to you which is why we offer coverage beginning 30 days of your hire date. We are also proud to be able to offer these important benefits to our employees as the employees pay 24% of the premium and the company pays 76% of the premium.

V&V Supremo Foods, Inc. offers a very generous Tuition Reimbursement Plan that allows employees to seek continuing education courses or programs that are related to their current or potential next assignment within the company.
