CHEESE AND GARLIC BISCUITS

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
16 oz. pre-made biscuit dough
12 oz. Shredded Chihuahua® Quesadilla Cheese or Oaxaca Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®

Method of Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400˚ F. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, and parsley. Set aside.
  2. Cut each biscuit dough round into 8 even pie pieces and add to bowl with butter and herb mixture. Add 4 oz Chihuahua® cheese to the bowl and mix thoroughly to ensure that the biscuit dough pieces are well coated with the cheese.
  3. Place 3 pieces of the biscuit dough into the bottom of each well of a non-stick muffin pan. Evenly distribute 6 oz. of Chihuahua® cheese onto the biscuits (about 2 Tbsp. per biscuit). Add another layer to each well with remaining dough.
  4. Evenly distribute remaining cheese onto each biscuit.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and biscuits are golden brown.
