Ingredients

1 soft sub roll
2 slices of Chihuahua® Quesadilla Cheese from V&V SUPREMO®
2 leaves of iceberg lettuce
1 1/2 Tbsp. Remoulade Sauce with Sour Cream (see recipe)
3 half-moon tomato slices
4 Sierra Stuffed Shrimp, tails removed (see recipe)

Method of Preparation

  1. Cut sub roll in half, lengthwise, if not done so already. Toast on a hot skillet for 1 minute per side.
  2. Cut 2 slices of Chihuahua cheese in half on a diagonal. Place 2 halves of cheese on each piece of bread, overlapping slightly.
  3. Place the bread on an oven-safe dish and broil for 30 seconds, or until the cheese is melted.
  4. Spread 1 ½ Tbsp. remoulade onto the bottom bun. Top with a layer of iceberg lettuce, 3 slices of tomato, and 4 fried Sierra Stuffed shrimp. Place the remaining piece of bread on top. Serve immediately.
