3 Tbsp. vegetable oil

¼ medium size white onion

1 pkg. (6.3 oz.) vermicelli noodles, Fideos

1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
-
6 cups chicken broth, low sodium
-
1 + ½ tsp. kosher salt

1 tsp. garlic powder
-
small bunch cilantro with stems
-
1 (8 oz.) pkg. V&V SUPREMO® Brand Queso Fresco Cheese, crumbled

½ cup Supremo® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®
3 Steps to complete

1Preheat medium sized pot on medium heat for 2 minutes. Add oil and sauté onion for 2 minutes. Break vermicelli noodles into the pot and fry until lightly browned, about 2 minutes.

2Stir in tomato sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder, and salt. Bring to a boil, add cilantro with stems (do not separate stems). Lower heat to med-low and cover the pot. Cook for 8 minutes on a simmer.

3Remove cilantro and onion before serving. Serve and garnish with crumbled Queso Fresco and sour cream, enjoy!
