Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat a skillet or griddle for 1 minute over medium heat. It’s important that the skillet temperature is not too high, so that the tortillas do not harden or overcook before the cheese fully melts.

  2. 2

Place one flour tortilla on the griddle, and warm up for approximately 15 seconds on one side.

  3. 3

Flip tortilla, and evenly spread 1 tsp. mustard over the tortilla. Add ¼ cup shredded cheese. Distribute uniformly over tortilla.

  4. 4

Distribute 3 slices of ham (roughly tearing by hand) and 8 slices of pickles. Top with ¼ cup cheese. Cover with another tortilla.

  5. 5

Press down with a spatula. Heat until the cheese starts to melt, approximately 3 minutes. Flip the sincronizada and keep cooking until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted. Remove from griddle.

  6. 6

Cut each sincronizada into 4 portions. Serve and enjoy with Creamy Avocado & Pickle Sauce.
