What an unforgettable and historic day in Pilsen! What an unforgettable and historic day in Pilsen! 🎉  This morning, we celebrated over 60 years of family-owned heritage, culture, and community. Our family is proud to have unveiled our new honorary street right by our Chicago HQ, Gilberto & Ignacio Villaseñor Street! Along with this incredible honor, we came together as a community to unveil a beautiful mural honoring our family’s legacy, our community and its future, and the hardworking Mexican immigrants who help make this city thrive. 🇲🇽❤️  The celebration brought together a wonderful group of community leaders and friends to honor our shared story and the legacy of the Villaseñor family. Today’s ceremony was truly impactful and a special thanks goes out to @univision Radio Host, @vickyaguilera1, Deputy Mayor @beatrizpdl, Alderman Byron Sigcho Lopez - @25thwardoffice, Benito Juarez High School Principal, Juan Carlos Ocon, Pilsen community leader, Theresa Fraga, Muralist @everettreynolds27, and Founder of The Mural Movement, @delilah1st. 🌵 How to Cook Nopal & Sear Queso Fresco 🧀  👉 Cook Nopal:
1. Remove thorns, trim edges, rinse and pat dry. 
2. Brush both sides of the nopal with a little oil and place on hot pan. Cook for 5–8 minutes per side, flipping it once or twice. You want it to be lightly charred and tender.  🧑‍🍳PRO TIP: The nopal will change color from a vibrant green to a dull olive green as it cooks. The naturally gooey liquid that is released during cooking should have evaporated.  🔥 Sear Queso Fresco:
1. Slice queso fresco to your desired size.
2. Place on non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden-brown crust forms. 

🌵Assemble:
1️⃣ Cooked Nopal
2️⃣ Refried Beans
3️⃣ Seared Queso Fresco
4️⃣ Pico de Gallo
