Can we make Smash Burger Taco Thursdays a thing? 🍔🌮  INGREDIENTS  Filling:
1 pound ground beef
1 chorizo sausage link
Handful of Chihuahua® Cheese  Toppings:
Spicy jalapeno sour cream
Lettuce 
Pico de gallo  DIRECTIONS  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef and chorizo link and mix well. You will not need to season the mixture because chorizo  is loaded with flavor already.
2. Add about 3oz of the mixture onto a tortilla and flatten it as thinly and evenly as possible. This will allow it to cook quickly and evenly.
3. Add the tortilla with the mixture facing down to a medium hot pan and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
4. Flip the tortilla over, top with cheese and cover the pan with a lid until the cheese melts. 
5. Set aside and garnish with our homemade spicy jalapeno sour cream, lettuce and pico de gallo.  #vvsupremo #smashburguer #taco #smashburgertaco #recipe
🥒✨ Pickling is one of those skills that insta 🥒✨ Pickling is one of those skills that instantly elevates ANY dish—and today, we’re making quick pickled red onions that will change your tacos, salads, and sandwiches forever.
Want to learn how? 👇 (Save this for later!)  You’ll need:
* 1 cup water
* 1 cup vinegar
* 2 tbsp sugar
* 2 tsp salt
* 1 red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions:
1. In a small pot, combine water, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a simmer.
2. While the brine heats, slice your red onion.
3. Place onions into a sealable jar or container.
4. Pour the hot brine over the onions until fully submerged.
5. Let cool to room temperature, then seal with a lid.  #vvsupremo #pickledveggies #pickledonions

Summer’s not over quite yet, so here’s our fav Summer’s not over quite yet, so here’s our favorite Fresas Con Crema Paleta recipe! 😍🍓  Ingredients: 
 • 15oz container V&V Supremo® Crema Supremo  
 • 1 tablespoon Mexican vanilla extract  
 • 7.6oz can media crema 
 • 14oz can La Lechera (½ can) 
 • 2 pounds fresh strawberries  
 
Directions:
1. Rinse, clean and evenly chop 1 pound of strawberries. Add chopped strawberries to a bowl, sprinkle sugar over them, mix well and set aside to macerate.
2. Into a blender add, V&V SUPREMO ® Brand Crema Supremo, Mexican vanilla extract, media crema and la Lechera and the remaining pound of strawberries. Make sure the strawberries are washed, and the stems are removed.   
3. Add the macerated strawberries to the cream mixture and mix well. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for minimum 6-8 hours or overnight for best results.  #vvsupremo #fresasconcrema🍓 #paleta #recipe

2️⃣ Lay it flat and cut it in half through the root.
3️⃣ Peel off the papery skin.
4️⃣ Place your hand flat on the onion and make horizontal cuts.
5️⃣ Use the onion’s natural lines as a guide for vertical cuts.
6️⃣ Form a “bear claw” grip with your hand to protect your fingers while slicing.
7️⃣ Flip to the flat side to cut any leftover pieces—no waste!  ✨ And that’s how you get even onion pieces every time. Give it a try!  PRO TIP: Don’t let your onions sit too long before using them, the older the onion is, the more likely you’ll tear up! We are deeply saddened by the passing of James “ We are deeply saddened by the passing of James “Jim” Meives, co-founder of Chula Vista Cheese Company and a cherished partner of V&V Supremo Foods.
 
In 1985, Jim helped breathe new life into our Browntown, WI cheese plant, producing its first batch of cheese and setting a standard of quality that still inspires us today. Known for his integrity, dedication, and close ties to local farmers, Jim was more than a cheesemaker, he was a trusted friend and a cornerstone of our history.
 
His legacy lives on in every cheese crafted in Browntown and in the community he helped build.
 
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jim’s family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. Thank you, Jim, for your friendship, vision, and craft. You will be missed, but never forgotten. 🧀🤍
