Tomatillo Salsa with Queso Fresco

   Place 1-quart water in a medium pot; add tomatillos, jalapeño pepper, and garlic. Bring to a rapid boil over medium-high heat.

   Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, drain, and transfer to a blender or food processor. Pulse on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes, or until salsa reaches desired consistency. Allow tomatillo salsa to cool for 10 minutes or more.

   Transfer tomatillo salsa to a bowl; add cilantro, onion, lime juice, salt, avocado, and Queso Fresco cheese. Mix until thoroughly combined.
