    Place the tomatillos and serrano peppers in a small pot with 2 cups water over medium heat. Bring to boil, reduce heat to low. Cook until tomatillos are softened (about 10 minutes). Drain, reserve tomatillo water and chill.

    In a blender, place tomatillos, serranos, and poblano peppers, with ¼ cup of tomatillo water add ¼ tsp salt or to taste. Blend to a coarse consistency.

    In a big bowl, mash avocados to a coarse consistency.

    Pour tomatillo sauce into the avocado mix. Add sour cream, onion, cilantro, and salt to taste (about ½ tsp.). Mix well. Enjoy with chips, or on tacos.
