Creamy Fruit Salad
Add a touch of freshness to your celebration menu with this Creamy Fruit Salad! Known in Mexico as Bionico salad, this popular Mexican dessert originated in the City of Guadalajara, Jalisco and is a delicious mix of chopped fruit covered with a creamy blend of condensed milk and Supremo® Sour Cream. Use any toppings you like to decorate like granola, pecans, raisins, shaved coconut, chocolate chips. Get ready to enjoy!
1 cup Supremo® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®
¾ cup condensed milk
2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
4 Steps to complete
1In a small bowl, mix sour cream, condensed milk and lime juice. Cover bowl and refrigerate until ready to be used.
2Gently mix the diced fruit in a medium-size bowl and set aside.
3Add 2-3 tablespoons of the creamy mix to the bottom of 4 cups or dessert bowls. Divide the fruit into the cups. Just before serving, pour 2 tablespoons of the cream mixture over each fruit cup and garnish with chopped pecans, raisins, shredded coconut and granola. If you prefer, you can let everyone garnish their fruit cup to their liking. If you want to add a little more sweetness, then you can drizzle some honey on top.
