Macaroni salad is a flavorful, traditional, festive dish. Perfect for parties!
Ingredients

½ lb. macaroni

2 bay leaves
-
1 tsp. olive oil
-
2 tsp. salt
-
¼ cup pickled jalapeños, minced (optional)

½ cup celery, diced
-
¾ cup red bell pepper, diced
-
¼ lb. ham, diced (about ¼ inch cut)

1Cook pasta according to package directions, adding 2 bay leaves, 2 teaspoons of salt and olive oil to cooking water. Drain pasta and place on sheet pan to cool.

2In a bowl whisk the lime juice and ¾ teaspoon of salt. When the salt has dissolved, add the sour cream and continue mixing.

3Place macaroni in a large bowl. Add celery, red bell pepper, ham, and jalapeños. Mix well.

4Add sour cream dressing and mix again.

5Cover the bowl and chill for at least one hour, or overnight before serving. Enjoy!
