Slices of roasted poblano peppers with cream are perfect to serve in tacos, quesadillas or as an accompaniment for many entrees. Prepare them for your family gatherings, they’ll love them!
Ingredients

6 poblano peppers, roasted, peeled, seeded

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

1 large onion, sliced
-
2 large garlic cloves, minced
-
½ tsp. oregano
-
½ tsp. fresh ground black pepper
-
15 oz. Supremo® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®

salt to taste
3 Steps to complete

1Slice the roasted poblano peppers into approximately ¼ inch thick strips.

2Place a medium saucepan over medium heat for 1 minute. Add the oil. Heat for 1 more minute. Add onion and cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Add the strips of poblano peppers and cook for 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Season with black pepper and oregano.

3Reduce heat to low. Add sour cream and mix well. Bring to simmer and turn off the heat. Add salt to taste and mix again. Serve with warm tortilla and enjoy!
